VALOI easy35 v1 Film Holders – Multiple Formats

VALOI easy35 v1 film holders are designed to let you digitize a wide range of film formats quickly, accurately, and with excellent film flatness. Each holder is purpose-built for a specific film format, while sharing the same proven easy35 design and workflow.

All easy35 v1 holders slide directly into the easy35 v1 system, replacing the existing holder by releasing a single screw and swapping holders—no tools, no recalibration, and no complicated setup. This makes switching between formats fast and effortless.

In use

VALOI easy35 v1 holders guide the film through a continuous slit that runs through the entire holder, allowing you to smoothly push or pull the film from one side to the other. This design is significantly faster and more convenient than traditional clamshell-style holders, especially when scanning longer rolls.

Each holder uses VALOI’s double-S curve design. By gently bending the film in opposite directions before and after the scanning gate, the holder achieves greater film flatness than a straight-through design, helping deliver sharper and more consistent scans.

Format considerations

Because film formats—especially smaller or older ones—can vary slightly depending on manufacturer and production era, full frame coverage cannot always be guaranteed for every roll. Individual holder listings provide specific format details and gate dimensions.

Compatibility

• Compatible with all VALOI easy35 v1 units

• Holders are swapped by loosening a single screw and sliding the holder in or out

• Not compatible with the VALOI 360 system, easy120 system, or easy35 v2.
